Great Thai food. We have been going here for a year or so. Love the Massaman and Tom Ka Ghai (excuse the poor spelling). Peanut sauce could use some work. Mango/Sticky Rice Deseret is good. They have large portions. We like to get it take out too. I prefer this location over the Provo one, although they are owned by the same people.

It's Thai, it's food, it's good. Seems a little Americanized but good food. Tried all of my favorites and was satisfied completely. Cute location.

I love this place. My wife and I love to go here, get the Pad Thai noodles, and the Masaman Curry. You cannot go wrong. So...freakin...good. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Plus, the fact that it is locally owned and operated is appealing--and then to top it off, it's in a renovated historic home, which really adds to the appeal and charm. If you like Thai food, you'll love The Thai Village.

Local Favorite. I have been to Thai Village multiple times over the years and will remain on my families eat out rotation. So what keeps us coming back. The restaurant is in an old Arts and Crafts home which is a far more enjoyable setting than many of the other Thai restaurants I have dined at which are in stripmalls. This is like many Thai restaurants I frequented which is family owned and run. The staff are very friendly and attentive. When the restaurant gets packed service and the kitchen can get slow but they always don't a great job getting your food to you hot. Thai Village is in American Fork in Utah county and has been toned down to the mac and cheese crowd which can't cope with anything that is at all spicy. The favors are come together wonderfully in their dishes but I always make a point to ask for the preparation to be made "hot" between med hot and extremely hot on at least a couple dishes. The pricing is reasonable and portions are generous. We always end up with enough leftovers for another meal or a few lunches. Order at either Red or Green Curry and Tom Kia Gi. Recommendations to owners would be limited to spicing up the food. Utah is coming of age. It's time to take off the training wheels. FOOD: 4 SERVICE: 4 VALUE:5

I can only speak for the curry. But man is it good. Red, green, and pineapple are fabulous!

I seem to constantly crave yellow Thai curry and Thai Village is a great place for it. They have a variety of authentic dishes and some interesting appetizers, too. It is close the all the shops, restaurants and movie theaters in AF/Lehi and is a great dinner option for a date night. I'll definitely be back to try some other curries and Thai dishes.

About the best you can do in North Utah County. But four stars people, come on??? The food is o.k. and the service is good. Can't complain. If I am desperate to get my Thai on, but don't feel like driving up to Salt Lake, then I will drop in.

This is my favorite Thai place in Utah County. I always get the Massaman curry. Its fabulous and addicting. I am glad that they recently opened another location on University Ave in downtown Provo. Now I can go there for lunch as often as I have that craving. Recommended!

I have eaten some pretty awesome Thai food. This food was just ok. My wife and I ordered pad thai and massaman curry. The pad thai was poor and the massaman was ok. I also ordered the tom ka and it was ok but seemed more greasy than other places. I will not eat there again.

I had driven by this place a number of times and each time thought it would be fun to try a Thai place in American Fork. After reading Anstrum's review, I decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed it. Loved the restored house and the food was very tasty, service was good. Thanks Anstrum! Good suggestion.

Set inside of a fantastic large restored home (hardwood floors and moldings) on Main Street in American Fork, the Thai Village is a really nice alternative to the chain restaurants that seem to dominate the local scene. It's family owned and staffed by a transplanted Thai family from CA - the kids run the register and the parents/owners serve the tables. There is typically a wait to be seated, but once you're at a table the service is terrific. The food is great and I know people that drive 40 minutes down from Salt Lake to get their fix. I love the coconut milk soup as an appetizer and the matsuman curry among the main dishes. The sticky rice is perfect. On our latest visit, our 4 person party purposefully ordered 5 dishes so that we could take some home in a doggy bag, but everything was so good that we ended up not having anything left. My wife mentioned to me that the Pad Thai tasted a little catsup'y, and she was right (a sin in a Thai restaurant?). A solid 3 1/2 to 4 stars and a great family dining experience.

This is hands down the best thai place that I've tried. The owners are really nice and the place looks a lot better on the inside than the outside. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes incredible.

These are nice people, and the place is interesting and welcome. But... they've conformed WAY too much to local tastes, for my tongue, and the food is mild when it should be spicy and bland when it should be exploding.

I'm a thai food snob having lived there for three years, and I always like to see some regional dishes...like som tum (papaya salad) on the menu. This restaurant will not disappoint you...if you like it spicy, tell them, they are more than happy to comply. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the food and service...give it a shot.

In the years that I've been using Yelp, this is the first time I've ever felt it absolutely necessary to write a review on a restaurant. Please believe me when I say I genuinely feel bad having to write a negative review on a restaurant. My first impression when we walked in was very favorable. The place has a really neat atmosphere being set in an old house that's been converted into a restaurant. The staff was pleasant and it wasn't overly crowded. We were excited to try the place out. Then we were seated...and it went waaaaay downhill from there. We waited for an unusual amount of time to get our drinks and to order, which doesn't really bother me that much most of the time. It was just strange seeing as how the place wasn't overly busy or anything. Once we ordered, however, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This was about the time when I noticed a woman dragging a cooler across the street into the restaurant. I thought to myself, "now that's odd". This really doesn't add to my review, other than the whole oddity of the event. I then dismissed it as the owners just storing things in what must be there house across the street due to a lack of space in the restaurant. But here's where I felt it necessary to write this review. The food is not good, I'm not saying it was okay or normal for an Asian restaurant in the middle of Utah...it was down right bad. My wife and I have a few dishes that we normally order at a new Thai restaurant to get a "feel" for how good the food is going to be: 1. Green Curry Chicken 2. Thai Basil Chicken(or similar dish) 3. Pad Thai We ordered all three just because we were that hungry. The first thing we noticed, and I've never seen this before, but the cooks actually put green dye in the Green Curry. We had a good laugh at that and thought, "now that's one way to put a literal spin on a dish". The dish lacked spice and just tasted like a mild coconut milk, very little else. The Thai Basil Chicken was absolutely atrocious. It was nothing like a real Thai Basil. The chicken resembled something of a ground pork and tasted like dog food. I seriously second guessed eating the chicken because I wasn't even sure it was chicken at that point. Neither of us could finish the dish, it was that bad. In addition, I think they forgot something in the sauce as it looked, and tasted, like nothing more than olive oil or something similar. Lastly, the Pad Thai had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Again, it was almost as if they forgot to add something. Nothing more than undercooked noodles with peanut bits sprinkled on top as far as I could tell. To wrap it all up, the food was way over priced for the quality. I've never left a Thai restaurant having made the conscious decision to not take home the left overs. Again, it was so bad that I had no desire to eat any more of it later on. If this is the only Thai place you've ever been, try one of the many in Salt Lake County, it will be eye opening. UPDATE*** I updated my rating from 1 to 2 stars because I do feel the staff was nice and have decided that 1 star ratings should be reserved for bad food and bad staff only.

This was a great find by a friend of mine. A group of us headed down to check it out. It's a Thai restaurant that is in a slightly converted old home. They kept the individual rooms instead of opening up the building into a traditional restaurant layout, so we ended up eating in one of the upstairs bedrooms. I had the Pad see ew and it was delicious. The broccoli was cooked just right and the soy sauce base was wonderful. Just the right amount of kick!
